Windows 7 64bit Compatibility Issue solved

Windows vista and windows 7 has came up with the all new range of the compatibility issues. Why windows can't maintain the compatibility among old software or games..?? The windows should maintain the compatibility with those old version softwares. It would not be an uneas
y task for them to engineer an operating system which support these softwares.

Windows first version 1.0 came in peoples computers in 20 Nov 1985, since then the windows came with many version upgrades, updates. It advances itself with this most modern world. Now this world itself is the different place from it was before 35years. To make some progress we need to compromise with our old progress. With this drastic change in the technology since 1985 windows also came up with  revisions of its Operating systems. And seriously, it would have harm the necessary growth of windows, when most of the old software still run in windows modern revision.

The processor of 32bit operating system in the computer language can hold information upto the 32bit address location in one go and same with the 64bit OS.

The 64bit CPU will be compatible with both 32bit and 64bit OS and 32bit CPU will be compatible with 32bit OS only. Similarly 32bit application software will be compatible with both 32bit and 64bit OS, because it supports backward-compatibility...

Windows 7 64bit has the WOW64 a x86 emulator that emulates a 32bit drivers and provides compatibility for 32bit applications. You can run any 32bit application in windows 7 by troubleshooting its compatibility. To do this simply right click on the icon of the app icon and selecting the option 'Troubleshoot Compatibility'.

But many times this doesn't work..then what...?!?

Patches and Updates...

Software Publisher always provide their user with the updates and upgrades for their software, so as to maintain compatibility with the new technology. So one should check for the patches and updates for the application. Download any update or patches from the publisher or from the 'FilePlanet'. Multiple OS boot...

Putting more than one operating system is called multiple OS boot. One can setup more than one OS in its computer and can switch among them as per his desire. But setting up more than one OS involves complexity and improper practice of this can crash down your computer. Still it doesn't matter more, as this option is also available using external drives.

Emulator is the software which behave like an old platform and provides the environment in which the running application can complete its task efficiently, sometimes more effectively than in the platform for which it is designed. Virtualizer:

Virtualizer is same as the emulators but some little difference is there. Using virtualizers you can boot guest operating system in the host operating system. That means you can run MacOS X as a guest in windows 7.
